 Shell
art should not be constructed using a hot glue gun. The
shells will release from the glue in just a few months' time. The
shells will start popping off and the piece will fall apart.
What kind of glue do you use?
I use all kinds of glue from epoxy to contractor's grade adhesive
and others. It depends on how porous the shells
are and the weight and placement of the shells
Where do you get all the shells?
I gather shells whenever I'm at the beach, I buy them and many
are gifted by friends and family.
How long does it take to make a shell art piece?
Each
layer of shells is glued and set aside to dry for 2-3 days in
between layers. It can take several days to complete a
project.

and collected shells my entire life. I started creating
